I have been religiously tracking my periods for over a year now.
Over the past few days I have been reviewing the data and I think I have noticed a pattern which I was wondering if anyone else can comment on, we are TTC so any advise on is appreciated.
Some months I get unbearable period pain on day 4 of my period (always day 4) Like being physically sick bent over double in pain , it will last about 3-4 hours and the only way I can cope is to take myself off to bed with super strong pain killers waiting for it to pass. Like I said it will only last a few hours and then I'm back to normal . The thing I have noticed though is the months where this happens the following month my period is super late with cycle lengths of 38-44 days where as the months I don't get the pain my cycles are pretty much regular at 27-28 . Does anyone know is this coincidence or is something else happening here?
I have suspected adenomyosis - no sign of fibroids or polyps etc... I've had three pelvic (internal and external) exams in the past year (both private and nhs) nothing obvious except thicker uterine lining.
Can anyone offer any advise if they have had the same?
