Coil replacement

Could you go back to work after having your coil replaced mid-morning?

Previous experiences have been hideous, so I took the rest of the day off. But it's not been nearly as bad this time. Still think I'll go home to bed, but am just wondering how other women cope

I had an hysteroscopy, and a Mirena fitted, last week and could have gone anywhere / continued as normal straight from the appointment. It wasn't painful and no after pains.

However I'm sure not all experiences are the same.
