Hi everyone, I've had a swollen, very sore and itchy vagina for a few days now and did think it was thrush due to having white cottage discharge however since taking the pessary I do not feel any relief and the swelling and soreness is so bad. When I look down below I can't see anything except swelling and redness, the opening of my vagina looks very swollen and red. I have contacted my doctor this morning who has said to contact the sexual health clinic and won't see me, I have now contacted the sexual health clinic who have said they have no emergency appointments and it's a first come first serve at 8am in the morning and spaces go within minutes. Very unlikely I will get that so I have ordered a home test kit - my issue is how can I relieve the symptoms in the mean time? It hurts to even sit down and no one will see me, I don't even think this is an STI as I have not had sex in weeks and I used protection with someone who I do trust but doctors won't see me unless I have a negative result, it's so painful :(
