Morning After Pill - Worked?

Hello!

I am in a committed relationship, and for a lot of reasons we have made the decision to not use any hormonal contraceptives.

I have tracked my temp, and it's worked well - we have two children so did wonders for conceiving and avoiding.

We DO NOT want anymore children, but I'll end up 6 feet under if I go back in hormones.

Recently my libido has been in the dumps, so I stopped tracking, and it came back recently, around and near when I was or due to be ovulating.. I had CM signs, but didn't know my temp.

We have had sex everyday the past week, using the pull out method, and I even took the morning after pill just to be sure, we do everything that they say to avoid when TTC... lubricant, standing up straight away 😂

My temp hasn't rised, it's around 36.14, normally it would be 36.4 after ovulation, I have no more CM and now I'm confused whether I stopped ovulation, or it's happened and I've missed it.

Do you think the quite slack precautions we've done has helped or it's possible I might get pregnant?

If you’d already ovulated the MAP will won’t work. It works by delaying ovulation.
Standing up will do very little. Lubricant unless with spermicide ditto. Withdrawal I think can be effective though, for some. So on that basis, if done properly, you are probably okay. Only probably.
But you are playing Russian roulette.

The MAP will disrupt your cycle so your tracking and temperature changes will mean nothing for a while, so don’t read much in to that.

I wouldn’t use MAP as contraception. Maybe try a Copper coil? I always notice an increased libido around ovulation so I can imagine you’ll be in this scenario again!
