I absolutely love coffee and drink 3 strong ones a day....

Should I be trying to cut down?

Is it unhealthy and if yes, why?

No I don’t think it’s unhealthy in that amount, especially the fresh ground. I drink a lot of coffee, mostly decaf but still a couple of strong fully caffeinated coffees each day before I switch to (4 more v strong!) decaf coffees. I am trying to cut down but mostly because my teeth are getting so yellow!

For most people, moderate coffee consumption can be incorporated into a healthy diet.” Hu said that moderate coffee intake—about 2–5 cups a day—is linked to a lower likelihood of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, liver and endometrial cancers, Parkinson's disease, and depression.

I think it's unhealthy and I don't understand why teenagers are allowed to drink it. 13-14 year olds walking around with starbucks, and I've even seen people say on here that their teen is unable to function before a morning coffee, that to me is just ridiculous.

My mum never let us have coffee, telling us that it made you stupid, but that aside, its not a drink for children in my opinion, they don't need it.
