Wondering.....

We invested in a super fancy machine because it's one of our very few pleasures (we don't go out, no restaurants, little booze etc), we now have maybe 4 each a day of amazing, high quality coffee. Lush.

70sShmeventies · 14/01/2023 18:38

3, occasionally 4. I feel a bit sick if I have more but would as I love it.

KirstenBlest · 14/01/2023 18:38

About 8. Weak and instant.

SwedishEdith · 14/01/2023 18:41

Share a cafetière at breakfast and after dinner and I'll have one after my lunch as well. Only ever black with no sugar though. And about 3 or 4 teas throughout the day as well.

addictedtotheflats · 14/01/2023 18:42

2-4 any more and i'm jittery as f*ck

ZestFest · 14/01/2023 18:43

Probably half a dozen, but maybe more!

Westfacing · 14/01/2023 18:45

Double espresso morning and afternoon

ChatSamosa · 14/01/2023 18:45

Two. One is usually an espresso.

itsgettingweird · 14/01/2023 18:52

4-5.

But I drink decaf.

BooCrew · 14/01/2023 18:55

Three usually, but instant so not very strong. If I'm out and have a proper coffee I'll probably only have that one.

Tea first thing, coffee on an empty stomach makes me feel sick.

blacksax · 14/01/2023 18:56

What about you OP?

simonthedog · 14/01/2023 18:59

5, I can drink coffee before bed and go to sleep no problem.

MajesticElephant · 14/01/2023 19:01

One decaf and then switch to decaf tea. At the weekend I will very occasionally have one during the day if it’s really cold and I feel like I need a ‘treat’.

MajesticElephant · 14/01/2023 19:02

I should add I love coffee and would drink it all day but I find my teeth a lot brighter since I cut down at dentists suggestion!

midsomermurderess · 14/01/2023 19:02

Usually none. I’m a big tea drinker, probably have at least 8 mugs a day.

Itsonlyagame · 14/01/2023 19:06

Anywhere from 6 to 12. Far too many but I have an autistic child that doesn't sleep.

UsingChangeofName · 14/01/2023 19:10

Probably about 5 (instant and decaff though) and then usually one cappuccino / latte / mocha type drink

diamondpony80 · 14/01/2023 19:13

1 coffee black with a scoop of collagen powder

SpentDandelion · 14/01/2023 19:17

Probably about 6, weak and milky.
It's all l drink, l sleep really well.

Ok so I’m just looking for everyone’s opinion please, this is about my In-laws, my husband and I married young had two lovely daughters then 8 yrs later had our son, so our daughter was their first grandchild, the in-laws used to bother a bit in the early yrs but as the yrs rolled by this got less and less when their daughter had a child, MIL was caregiver to her children while she worked full time, the yrs roll by and my children are treated more non family members, my son has just turned 16 and although she gave him £25 no card was sent yet she has just been on a trip away celebrating her other grandsons 16 th, she did ring my son day before his birthday just to say she couldn’t make it down on his bday, I just feel like I’ve taken crap for all these yrs it’s easy to say don’t let it bother me but I feel like I should of said something 🤔

Sorry wrong thread 😖

Boobahs · 14/01/2023 19:51

One with breakfast. One mid afternoon most days. Cup of tea before bed.

Plus lots of water throughout the day.

sanityisamyth · 14/01/2023 19:53

None. Even the smell turns my stomach.

mac1974 · 14/01/2023 20:39
  1. Very occasionally I have 3 but they are all in the morning then I don't tend to drink hot drinks the rest of the day.
RiceRiceBaby16 · 14/01/2023 21:08

Always 1. Maybe once or twice a week I'll have a second cup. None after 3pm is my rule for sleep. Though if I could, I'd have 5 a day😂 but not really into trying decaf and I don't do instant coffee
