Hi everyone, I need to ask for some advice on an upcoming gynecology appointment. At my last cervical screen a polyp was found, so I have been reffered to gynecology for this to be removed. The appointment letter has now arrived for next week, it doesn't say anything about what it will be, just an examination or also procedure. Problem is, I will be on my period and don't know if that is an issue. The letter doesn't mention anything about this and I have tried to call the Outpatient number on the letter several times, but no luck getting through. Should I try to rearrange or shall I just go to the appointment being on my period?
