I'm due to have this done in February. Has anyone got any experience of having it done? I'm not quite sure what to expect!

Yes, what are you hoping to know? I'm not sure why you're having it done but I can offer you some experience. Day case, some blood in urine afterwards but very little pain. Incontinence issues mostly resolved, needs repeating after a few months.

Thank you for replying. Does it need repeating forever?? I'm only 54! I have a 'hyperactive' bladder apparently. Did you need to self catheterise? I've been told I will be taught how , in case they give me too much!
I guess I'm seeking reassurance that it's OK, and not as unpleasant as my imagination is making it !
