Severe Pain after Laparoscopy Surgery

Hi mum's I really need help right now. It's not urgent enough for A&E.

I had a Laparoscopy for endometriosis and a IUD Mirena fitted on 16th Dec, recovery was good up until the point of when my next period was due. I am aware that periods reduce and even stop on the IUD.

My issue is I'm experiencing such immense pain the same throbbing pain I had every month when my period was due before the surgery. (Endometriosis pain)

All endometriosis tissue was removed during the surgery so why am I still experiencing this pain? It kills so bad when I cough or sneeze and no painkillers work for this. I've attached the previous posts I started about this.

The private doctor I saw is off on leave and won't be available until 2 weeks.

It hurts so bad when standing up, sitting down, even sleeping. I had to go through this pain for a whole year during my period. I'm spotting at the moment as the IUD settles in my body can anyone please help or have any advice??

Thanks

@PinkLem0nade if you are in uncontrollable pain you need to call the hospital you had your surgery at for advice, failing that go to A&E or call 111 for advice. I remember having immense pains after my endo excision surgery and it turned out I had a raging UTI along with recovery pains. They tweaked my pain meds and also included buscopan to try and ease the cramps which dialled them down to a dull just about manageable ache. Rest, stay hydrated and be kind to yourself. I ended up taking 6 weeks to recover to the feeling human stage and was thoroughly fed up with myself as I'm not a patient patient ❤️‍🩹
