Anal thrush

evening all. I’ve not currently got a doctor and don’t feel comfortable approaching a pharmacist.

is anal thrush a thing? I’ve recently taken up exercise so for the first time in my life I’m wearing tighter, fitter clothes. For the last couple of days I’ve been feeling itchy. I’ve done the obvious and I’m definitely clean and wiped. Unfortunately I’m too big to be able to see in a mirror how it looks. I’ve had thrush years ago and it feels the same but further back.

if not do you have any other suggestions.

If you have children it’s more likely to be worms. You can take some ovex and see if that helps.

You can also take a Fluconazole capsule (not at the same time) and if it’s thrush that will clear it alongside some canestan cream.

Its piles.

No children to get worms from. I have step children but it’s the first time I’ve seen them in a few weeks because they have been away with their mum.

You don’t need children to get worms.

Worms does sem most likely, I think the itching is supposed to be worst in the morning?

Wipe sudocrem on the area if it might be chafing.

Can be, if you've got vaginal thrush. If not I'd guess piles as well.

I’ve searched up about piles and think you are correct. I have ibs and have been constipated and tried to force myself to go today and yesterday before going out places so it would make sense.
