Merry Christmas! My fibroids have announced their presence by bleeding everywhere

Just a lighthearted thread in and amongst the Christmas shit people are having to deal with at the moment.

Sat down to watch muppet Christmas Carol with teenage dc. Coughed throughout it with dreaded lurgy. Felt a bit odd, got up to check, have bled through my clothes, cushions, throws, seat cover and seat filling. Christmas eve wash in in progress and emergency throws on sofa.

I'm waiting for a hysterectomy but my bleeding has never been like this before, like having the lurgy isn't bad enough now when I cough the floodgates are opening!

Merry bloody Christmas indeed!

Bad luck! Know the feeling! Mine did it when I got up to leave a family pizza meal in a restaurant, over the restaurant floor. Xmas ConfusedNearly fainted outside waiting with ds while sh got the car. I looked like I'd been shot in a very unfortunate place. Also, another time chatting to a friend I met on a walk.

Largest incontinence pads were my friend until my I got my hysterectomy. It was brilliant to have the operation finally.

Hope you're Christmas is manageable and you're iron levels are ok!

Thanks tobee I can't wait for my hysterectomy as everything is getting worse, the one day I could do to nip out and buy more stuff and the shops are closed!

Good to hear things improved for you after the op, happy Christmas to you!
