Do I need to wait till after a bleed or just stop using patches / pills straight away?

I should add that I'd ask my GP but I can't see anyone for over 3 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️

Do you mean stop for good, or just the monthly break?

I ran out and haven't bothered getting any more prescribed. I had a hysterectomy 18m ago and they said I should use it at least for a few years, but I haven't been impressed, so been off it for 4 months now.

I had to stop cold Turkey for some cortisol tests I needed doing. It was fine. I did have a bleed about 5 weeks afterwards. And then when I’d had the tests I restarted it.

Sorry should have said - Stop for good.

I'm in perimenopause and HRT is doing nothing. It's only been 3 months but I don't want the increased risk of breast cancer (my mum had it) for no benefit.

Just no idea how to stop.. peel of the patch and that's it? 🤷🏻‍♀️
