Should I still be producing milk now ???

Didn't know what topic to post this thread in...
I only breast fed my DS until he was 5 weeks. He is now just over 21 months. And sometimes I notice especially on an evening when I wear a T-shirt with no bra I feel a wet sensation around my nipple area and it's visible on t shirt (very small amount, about the size of a grain of rice), if I squeeze my nipple to check if it came from there, a small amount of milk instantly comes out.
Is this normal after so long to still be producing milk?!
I also recently found out I have a complex cyst on my ovary which they're keeping an eye on. Couldn't be related to that could it?!

Not an expert, but I think you can produce milk for a long time afterwards.

I just would have thought it would have stopped by now almost 2 years on 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m sure that happened to me in the situation you describe. 8 yrs since BF stopped.

Yes I stopped breastfeeding nearly 2 years ago and that still happens.

I have been stressing over this complex cyst and worried it was caused by a hormone inbalance then it suddenly occurred to me tonight when I noticed I'd leaked again

My son is 19 and I can lactate still! It started from when he was about 6 yrs old, I stopped lactating after breastfeeding as per normal.

Wow!!

I've breastfed 5 kids and never stopped lactating in 26 years. It's been 4 years since my final child and I still leak if fondled a bit too enthusiastically by DH.
