Period after Cervical punch biopsy

I had a Colposcopy and punch biopsy done around 4 weeks ago. My first period since having it has just started and it seems (at the moment) quite light compared to what it would usually be like.

Has anyone else had this procedure done and had altered periods afterwards?

Yes I’ve had the same procedure- I can’t remember in detail but definitely had flooding that I hadn’t had before in first period afterwards, took me very much by surprise. Seem to remember this happened for the next few periods too…
