Lash extensions irritating me

I got my lashes done today and did have a patch test 6 days ago for this, no reaction at all, however the lashes are on and when applied burned like a b but went away around 20 mins after my appointment so I assumed it was just the glue fumes, since then I was completely fine didn't even notice them there until now, I'm trying to sleep and each time I close my eyes it burns really bad, I just looked in the mirror and both of my eyes are blood shot really bad, it's like I've cut onions my eyes won't stop watering... is this normal for lash extensions to do this? I never reacted to the patch test so assumed I am not allergic

I used to regularly get lash extensions. The only time I reacted like this was when the lash artist used far too much glue, thus irritating my eyes. If I were you I would contact the lash artist to highlight your concerns.

Thank you, I did a bit of research specifically on twitter and seems a lot of people have said lash extensions can burn for the first few days due to something called chemical burn when the eye is slightly open, when she did my lashes she taped my eye upwards so it was open a bit, that could be why but it's mainly my right eye that's affected, the left eye is fine and not really blood shot, the right is fully blood shot and so watery it's weird
