Hi everyone!

I have had to have an ultra sound, due to heavy periods, irregular bleeding, pains on my left side.
the ultra sound results show that I have 2 cysts, one on each ovary, and also that my womb lining is very thick! I have to have a hysteroscopy on the 19th January! Consultant said he isn’t concerned at all! But my mind is going crazy!
i have been looking at other posters similar situations but all seem to be post menopause! I am only 29 so wondering if anyone has experience anything similar before the menopause? Thank you!! X

Hi, yes, me. I had a scan for same reasons and it showed a 6 cm cyst on left ovary and womb lining thickening of 14 mm.
My hysteroscopy is today... Eek!

Aww Good luck for today 🤞 hope it all works out okay for you! Mine isn’t until the 19th of January, so going to be driving myself mad until then haha! Hope to hear how you got on xx

Hi, i just got home. I had to have a general anaesthetic because my pulse and blood pressure were too high when they attempted it in clinic.
I have no pain. They just took some biopsies. There was nothing else to remove, no polyps or anything.
I hope yours goes well x

Glad your not in any pain and it went well! Did they say how long it takes for results from the biopsy?
thank you! Just want it over 😅 x
