Period super late but not pregnant

I’m normally 5 weeks between periods but now I’m coming up to 8 weeks. Definitely not pregnant, took many tests. Having pelvic pain as well. I have the copper coil but normally Means heavy painful periods.

I had similar recently OP (although don't have the coil). Have you been stressed recently? I think that might have been it was for me.

I also wondered if it could have been an ovarian cyst as I had a bit of pain and discomfort soon.

Is anything in particular worrying you about it?

Agree with PP, stress can delay periods.
Or I've found being ill with flu in between the previous cycle and ovulation can delay it as well. (On the flip side for me being ill after ovulation usually causes a lighter period)

Have you seen a doctor?

You don’t say your age OP, do you think you could be peri-menopausal? Has anything else changed? Have you recently had a covid vaccine/booster, that has been reported to mess up cycles. I would speak to GP, easier said than done I know!

i am abit worried, just achey down below as well and crampy.

I was about to start a thread stating the exact same thing. I have a copper coil and I am on day 49 with no sign of a period. Cycles on average are around 40 days for me with 45 being the longest I have gone between periods. 49 seems to take the piss.
I have checked the coil threads and they seem to be ok. I have also done 2 tests which were negative.
Where the hell is the bastard?!
No advice just solidarity.
Interesting that PP said about being sick messing your cycle. I was unwell with some kind of flu a few weeks ago, I am praying it's that.
I am starting to worry and panicking that I might be pregnant or that something is broken down there.

In a similar boat here, usually 4 weeks between periods & they last 5 days. Period is 2 days late now, took a test this morning & its negative, had cramps etc but no sign of it. We've all been ill with colds etc & no more stressed than normal so not sure it can be stress, they only thing that's ever made it late is pregnancy.

Period turned up a few days ago. One of my worst ones. :(
