Fertility blood test

I've been to my gp today about not being able to get pregnant, she has said I need bloods done but just booked my in the next available date, which is December 29th.
I thought you had to have them on specific days in your cycle! It happens that it will actually be day 21 but that was just a coincidence!
Am I right?

What is being tested for?. Progesterone is usually measured around day 21.

Another useful blood test is a day 2 which is to compare your LH level against that of FSH.

Your man should also be tested in conjunction with your tests being done.

She didn't say what was being tested, just that I need a blood test. Tbh she didn't seem to know anything!
My husband is getting a sperm analysis, just waiting on an appointment.

Did you get any more info on this? My GP has asked for bloods but the next appointment is on day 13 of my cycle so I'm unsure what she is looking for.
