Fibroids and on pill - heavy bleeding

I'm on POP for really heavy and painful periods (tranexamic acid didn't help). Pill seemed to work for a while. Started getting spotting, 12 months+ after I started pill. Had a scan, I have a large mass of fibroids. Now waiting for a gynae referral. Past couple of weeks, however, I've been bleeding heavily again, experiencing more pain, and am passing clots. Does anyone have any experience of this? Don't want to call gyane nurse unnecessarily. I'm so fed up with it.

I've googled this so much, and just found something that says the pill often only gives temporary relief. Perhaps my temporary relief is over 😥

Do call the gynae nurse again, you would not be wasting their time here.

Thank you. I've got a callback on Monday. The bleeding has calmed down since yesterday, but still spotting - it seems to come in waves.
