I'm debating on going in for office hysteroscopy under paracervical block or in hospital under epidural. (I don't want general anesthesia if I can avoid it and it seems that I can. I have only 1 tiny polyp that i personally want to remove. it isn't urgent).
I had epidural while in labor with both kids. that was like any other injection really. stung for a second then all I had was pressure but that's right after I was in extreme pain from labor. I'm unsure how I feel going in not pregnant and not in labor how it would feel? did anyone have a epidural for hysteroscopy or any other procedures?
now a paracervical block I never had. online has a ton of horror stories. it sounds horrendously painful. did anyone have a paracervical block for hysteroscopy or any other procedure? did it hurt during the needle and procedure itself or was it just pressure after the block took ?
