I've just had a 14 day period, had a day off bleeding and now I'm bleeding what looks like fresh blood but it's only from late afternoon/early evening and then it stops come late evening (9pmish). I was ill with the flu and when I got to the end of that I came on 10 days early which is unusual for me.
I have no more pain than usual (slight cramps) and I'm not losing mega amounts of blood or clots of a size that would cause me to be worried. It's been a pretty steady flow (not too light, not really heavy) and amount. No unprotected sex and no birth control that could be causing issues.
I am 8 months postpartum and periods have been around 7-10 days and regular since I had my little boy. I have my smear booked for the 21st of this month. At my last smear everything was absolutely fine with no signs of anything worrying.
I will be phoning the doctor's tomorrow (16/11/22) if things haven't changed, I was just hoping people may have some ideas/advice that I could discuss with the doctor if they get stumped as to what could be going on.
