Random series of apparently unconnected complaints, making me feel a bit under par at the moment. Don't know if I just shrug my shoulders and put it down to perimenopause, or if there's something else going on. Feel free to 'diagnose' me:

Frequent headaches
Slow digestion/mild IBS
Not much of an appetite/occasional mild nausea
Vanishing libido
Tiredness - not as bad this week but felt exhausted, like I was hungover for several days last week (I wasn't actually hungover)
Possibly feeling colder than usual? I feel a bit chilled sometimes, but it could be just the time of year!

For background, I'm almost 45, I do have irregular length periods and cycles sometimes, and I currently have a frozen shoulder, although that's not currently causing too much pain, just some general discomfort.

Like I say, all quite minor but adding up to make me feel a bit 'out of whack' and I wish I could put my finger on what's wrong so I could fix it!

Oh and feeling quite sneezy/allergic at times as well - forgot about that one!

I would have your thyroid gland levels checked

SilkieChick · 14/11/2022 21:08

Hm, that did occur to me @AttilaTheMeerkat. I had an overactive thyroid about 20 years ago but it's been normal ever since then any time I've had it checked (which is sometimes, when I feel a bit out of whack, like I do at the moment). So I don't have high expectations that it would be that, but it may be worth exploring.
