Hi everyone

Just for some background My cycle is usually between 27-29 days long (most common is 28 days). I use the Clearblue digital advanced ovulation tests and I usually start testing on cycle day 8 and I will get high fertility on day 9 (flashing smiley face) and then will get peak fertility on day 14 (static smiley face) which means ovulation will be within the next 12-24 hours, however I have started testing on this cycle on day 8 (as usual) expecting to get the flashing smiley the next day ( day 9 ) as normal but when when I tested it showed as low fertility (blank circle) and then today (cycle day 10) It still shows low fertility (blank circle) when usually I would have my high fertility (flashing smiley. I'm not sure why as it is usually always the same. Thanks !

It can change month on month.

It just varies that's all

Ovulation is not an exact science and it can occur earlier, later or not at all in any given cycle. I would not place too much store by such kits as these are not always accurate. These kits work on two misleading principles; that there is one rise in LH every month and that such a rise is immediately followed by ovulation. Both of these are simply not true.

I would argue PP, the kits are so helpful once you know they're just a predictor
