HPV & sex

I have HPV. No genital warts. 2 very small pinhead size warts on my leg.
If I sleep with new partner and he gets HPV (we will use condom but that's not fully protective). Could he develop genital warts ? He said he's not worried about getting HPV but doesn't want to have genital warts. Which I understand

Hi op., Not all hpv strains cause warts. There are over 100 so unless you know exactly which strain you carry, you can't know if you'll pass it on and he may get a wart. If he does, they just freeze them off

Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought the strain picked up on smears which cause cervical cancer are not the same as the ones that cause warts
