Mini Pill help

Hi all,

I’ve read a million previous threads about the mini pill but thought I’d make my own.

I started it about 9 weeks ago(Cerazette) to be precise. I started it the day of the first day of my period and it was pretty much non existent and I thought “Great! Exactly what I wanted”……however and this is the big however. I’ve pretty much bled on and off for the last 9 weeks. Nothing too heavy, just like light spotting for weeks at a time, then it stops for a few weeks then comes back.

I’m back to light spotting the last few days but just want to know if I should stick with it or go back to the doctors because although it doesn’t bother me that much, having to wear pads constantly is getting to be a bit of an issue.

Any help would be appreciated?

i was changed from my combined pill Yasmin to Cerelle due to my age. It’s been horrid. I have literally bled for weeks. I’ve been back to my GP and they’ve suggested I stick with it as it’s the best mini pill on the market. Personally I think it’s all down to money and budget but I’m at the end of my tether. Don’t know what to do. I can’t so with having a period for weeks on end. It’s depressing.

Think there's 2 other mini pills you can try that aren't desogestrel based. They only have a 3 hour window to take them.

I had this with Cerazette but Noriday (one of the older mini pills with the 3 hour window) has been great.

Which once could I try please. X

Norgeston and Noriday are both mini pills with 3 hour windows I think
