Bumpy pointy bone just above / under clitoris

Hi, I seem to be panicking about something that may or may not be normal / have been there forever.

Anyhow sort of in the vulva area above the clitoris is a bony structure that I can feel. I’m sure there is meant to be some pubic bone here but there seems to be a bony protrusion that runs vertical down to clitoris.

Does this sound normal please?

Also, I’ve had some itching which had got worse which dermatologist thinks is exzema, but I keep panicking I have vulvar cancer and now this bumpy bone has me worried. Im hoping it’s always been there and I’ve just never noticed / thought about it. I have a bit of health anxiety at times so maybe just that? If anyone can help?

Just Google and look at the bones in the pelvis

I’ve tried that and can’t see if there is meant to be a ridge type thing. I had a baby 18 months ago so wonder if something changed or became more pronounced rather than it being anything to worry about

You may have a bit separation pubic bone - there is a join in the middle with a ligament holding 2 sides together. Your body is never the same after a baby!

Thank you Luna, yes perhaps something has changed. It’s is bumpy so maybe it’s that joint that’s changed a bit

I had SPD, the pubis bone separates and I bet you can feel that look at pics online. I don't have a bumpy ridge but it's still painful to prod.

Sometimes bones can grow spurs (lumps) as well, so I'd get it checked out. I've felt a few vulvas in my time and haven't come across a pointy bone above the clitoris before, it's usually a rounded bone but flat on top. If anything there is a slight dip in a line up from the clitoris.
It's highly unlikely to be cancerous though, so get it checked out, but try not to worry.

@BlueG4 thank you. I’ll get it checked to be on the safe side. It must be more pronounced since my last baby or something - hoping that’s all it is.
@feelingprettylight I did have spd pain in pregnancy so could potentially be something like that - thank you for your reply
