Unwell with spots

I've been unwell since Sunday but spots since yesterday. Doc says allergic reaction to antibiotics but I stopped those on Monday and spots still spreading

I’m not medical but if a GP has seen them and says allergic reaction, have they suggested antihistamines? I suppose it takes a while for them to get out of your system.

Looks a bit like those petichae? Spelling wrong. Does it blanch under a glass?

Are they raised? Does the skin feel rough? Could be eczema unconnected to you being ill but as a result of the allergy.

Have you had a blood count to check your platelets. Looks like bruising there and petechiae. I’d aim to get a blood count tomorrow.

See a dr - they look non blanching. Call 111

Is the bruising normal OP?
I'd advise a second opinion. If that was on my leg I wouldn't be sold it was completely a reaction to something.

Do you have scarlet fever by any chance OP?
My friend was misdiagnosed and the antibiotics caused precisely this reaction.

The bruising is always there x

@LaineyL I'd be demanding a blood test if you cannot explain that bruising. That's a lot of bruising there with those spots/rash. The two might even not be connected given you've recently had antibiotics but that needs investigating x
