Vaginal bleeding...

I have had gynaecological issues for the WHOLE of my adulthood. Irregular bleeding, weird discharge, cysts, all sorts. One time after an examination (years ago and I can't remember what for) the doctor sent me to a consultant because she said my cervix looked inflamed or something, but all turned out to be fine and was just "one of those things". I had another investigation a year or so ago for some other issue and the doctor said my cervix looked healthy but there was old blood on the spatula thing, but again she said it was just one of those things. I've always had regular smears, next one is due in January. Last one came back fine. I was on the pill for years and came off it for a couple of years because I was single, not looking etc. Then in April 2021 I got into a new relationship and by doctors advice went onto the depo shot as I was over 35. That relationship ended suddenly, I continued on the depo shot because I preferred not having periods (they eventually pretty much stopped). Anyway the last time I had the shot was September but because I'm remaining single now I admit it was pretty late... probably a good few weeks. For the last month or so I've been bleeding every day, though it's mainly either a brownish watery type of fluid, or very dry looking dark blood, small clot like sometimes. Not leaking all over or anything just on tissue and the odd clothing stain etc. But tonight there was a bit of fresher looking blood (I tested with a tampon). Sorry if this is gross... at first I thought it was hormones because I was late with the shot but now I'm starting to panic! Has anyone got any thoughts? Other than get it checked out, which obviously I will when I'm home next week 😔

A Granulosa cell tumour can cause bleeding. Have you had your ovaries scanned? Blood work is to test for inhibin A and inhibin B. The CA-125 test is for different types of ovarian cancer.
