To feel like my hormones rule my life

I feel like I’m on a roller coaster every month. The week before my period I’m tired, fed up, no sex drive, anti social, feel ugly, then after my period I’m resilient, happy, feel attractive, high sex drive (in lead up to ovulation), then the cycle starts all over again. I want to feel like I do leading up to ovulation all the time, I’m so full of energy. I’m worried when I hit menopause that I will be like the pmt version of myself?

is there any way to feel like my best self all the time, the me I am in the run up to ovulation? Is there any way to mimic these hormones, I feel like I can take on the world this time of the month.

I'm like this OP. And hormonal contraception means I'm either raging or very upset like the day before my period, but for weeks at a time.

I'd love an answer.

I feel like I could have wrote this.

I could be wrong but I think this is quite normal for a woman's cycle but it rubbish. I've just started taking evening primrose oil with the hopes it will help but I've heard it takes a while to notice any difference.

If your symptoms are severe and debilitating, this is pmdd.

The doctors thinks I may have pmdd. Half the month I’m on an almost high and the other half on a low. Really low. I want to find a way to always or nearly always to be on the high, I would be a different person.
