Hi I have a down there problem and have sought advice everywhere.

basically just before my period ( a couple of days before when me and my husband have sex it feels like it’s burning , my husband also complains that it feels like burning on his area too. It’s also the same a couple of days after my period and then just subsides!

I’ve been to the gp about this and was told there’s nothing wrong down there. We both have had full STD checks too.

does anyone else have this issue ? And if so how did you get rid of it?

thank you xx

Your estrogen nose dives before your period - it can cause vaginally dryness, which in turn can cause painful sex. If this is the case, a sensitive (unscented etc) lube might work.

Sounds like Thrush, can’t hurt to try some canesten and see if it helps anyway

Are you using scented toilet paper?

Could be thrush, maybe try Canesten course to see if that helps the issue. Wouldn't hurt to take some probiotics like actimel too
