Caesarean scar defect and adenomyosis

A couple of months ago I got a sudden onset of pelvic pain around ovulation. Never really suffered from pelvic pains before so went off to the dr who referred me to a gynaecologist. A transvaginal ultrasound and later an MRI revealed some functional cysts on ovaries, some lesion like things in my uterine muscle wall that could be adenomyosis and a c section scar defect. Lucky me.

The later at least explains my mysterious periods since my second baby - two day bleeds followed by a pause of a few days and then more bleeding for a day. Apparently blood pools in the cs scar pouch and festers for a while before coming out 🤮

My pelvic pain is still unexplained. Does anyone have adenomyosis that caused a sudden onset of pelvic discomfort (not really pain, more a discomfort of heaviness down in the pelvis) and ovulation pain? It could be related to the defect too but since I’ve had the weird periods for a good few years, for the pain to come in randomly now seems a bit odd.

Any stories or experiences would be welcome. Sitting here feeling sorry for myself and trying not to let my health anxiety get the best of me.

Hope things have improved! I was just diagnosed but hear heavines/pain is typical of adenomyosis.
