White patch of skin discoloration on vagina

I've noticed this in the last few days. its on the inside of my vagina, you have to peel the lips back to see it. No other symptoms at all. Its almost like a vitiligo-type white patch, except I don't have vitiligo.

I have taken the plunge and booked a DRs appt. I DREAD going to the drs with this type of thing. its is soooooo embarrassing to lay there, legs apart while the dr has a good look (I've asked for female dr). I don't know how I will cope and just hope I can make it for the dr to take a look. I'm shaking at the thought it - but somehow manged to have 3 babies (vaginally) so I CAN do the whole fanny-out for- the-dr thing. But I had no choice with my babies !

There's Lichen sclerosus but I think that's itchy...Might be worth a Google anyway. Beyond that, you'll need someone more knowledge than I am to respond.

But, regardless, let the doctor have a look. Don't get worked up about it - they see fanjos all the time. You'll not be their first or their last - and by the sounds of it, not the worst either. You can do this.
