Unfortunately the medical professionals are dominated by a masculine outlook.

For example

If a male cannot achieve sexual pleasure he can purchase over the counter medication ie viagra. If a woman requires medication to control heavy monthly bleeding, she has to contact her physician. Femstrul has been withdrawn from over the counter pharmacies.

By reading this article it looks like if a woman cannot achieve sexual pleasure following a medical procedure. It looks like there is nothing that can be done.
