Periods after stopping mini pill

Hi all, I have been on the mini pill for 3 years now, since I had my last child, and have not been having periods. Going to stop soon, I was just wondering people’s experiences of when their periods started, or when they ovulated if known? I know it will affect everyone in a different way, just interested in people’s experiences.

@Justjoinedforthis Hi, I came off the mini pill exactly 8 weeks ago today … and I’m still waiting for a period :(

I came on the pill 6.5 weeks ago and still waiting for my first period…. Very impatiently x

Whenever I came off the mini pill or nuvaring- My period started within a month and returned straight back to every 30 days. Just like I've never taken it.

I took my last one yesterday, hubby got the confirmation that his vasectomy was successful. Wonder how long it will take for me to get a period and also if I have any side effects. Been on it for years…!

Hi, I know this is from last year but wondered how long it took for your periods to come back. I stopped taking the mini pill desogestrel 10 days ago, since stopping I’ve felt really funny light headed/dizzy and feeling sick. Not pregnant as did a test. My husband also had his vasectomy confirmed which is why I’ve stopped. Did you have any side effects after stopping? Thanks
