Gush of blood!

Hi,

Spent the night in A&E to be told I will be put on a referral list & not one bit of concern on what might be causing the problem.

I have been getting really bad pain on my right side and lower pelvic for days, not being able to sleep throughout etc for about a week. Anyway, I was up in pain for suddenly a load of blood to just come out of me. I haven't had any blood since.

I have no idea what it is, doctors at the hospital don't seem bothered and no intention of wanting to find out why.

I'm at a loss...Google isn't even helping!

Has anyone has anything similar?

Where did the blood gush from?

Imnotaslimjim · 13/10/2022 21:05

I'm assuming it was a vaginal bleed? Are you post menopausal? You need to go to your GP and insist on a gynae referral to find out the cause of the pain and bleeding.

Pregnant?

Emmelina · 13/10/2022 21:22

Perhaps a burst ovarian cyst, they’re bloody awful Flowers

Sorry, from the vagina!

I'm 33 so hopefully not menopausal and def not pregnant. We have been trying for 15 months with no luck!

Where are you in your cycle? Which day?

Was it like a knife being stabbed into your ovary and twisted to the point you feel nauseous too?

I get that on both my lower left and right side and I have endometriosis. Before hormone contraception I used to just have to cough, laugh or sneeze and my pad would be soaked with blood and clots as big as 5p
