sphincter of oddi dysfunction and other complications after gallbladder surgery

Hi, anyone with sphincter of oddi dysfunction or pain similar to gallbladder pain coming back after gallbladder surgery?
I was operated half a year ago and I am getting yellow diarrhea, stomachaches, terrible acid feeling in the night and pain where GB used to be, AND I just got pregnant. My doctor said I should test for sphincter of oddi dysfunction but it is a long waiting time.
Does this make me in higher risk for pancreatitis?

I was diagnosed with SOD type 1, it's difficult to diagnose, my massive pain attacks were triggered by opiates, much much worse than a gall bladder attack and my liver function results were off during an attack. I've had five kids and gall bladder attacks and nothing compares to SOD pain. What makes you think it's that?

Oh wow that sounds scary the amount of pain you have! gallbladder attack pain was the worst pain I have ever felt and everyone told me it's worse than childbirth, can't imagine anything worse. My pain is similar to gallbladder attack but much weaker.

The gastrosurgeon who operated me said that it could be SOD from my symptoms and booked me in for secretin enhanched MR to diagnose it.

I never took opiates (besides for gallbladder attacks and surgery) but I just get pain where my gallbladder used to be after eating. A bit more rarely I get pain when I am stressed or without any trigger.
Now I am going for a normal MRCP to check if there is any stones left after surgery although the surgeon said there shouldn't be from the way surgery went. But apparently they can't do this SOD sekretin MR now that I am pregnant.

I also get this acidy taste in my mouth every night although before GB removal I didn't have acid reflux.

I am first time pregnant and a bit scared how all this will develop in pregnancy.

How were you diagnosed with SOD? And how do you treat it? Do you have to be very careful with your diet your whole life?

P.S. Forgot to ask, how are you liver function results when you are not under an attack?

Hello@MarieLus hopefully by now you have a lovely newborn baby!

Can I ask if you ever got to the bottom of the sphincter of oddi issue? I ask as I have very similar symptoms to yours (gall bladder was removed in 2020).
