I know there have been loads of threads on the Mirena but I've been through them and can't find the answer to my specific question.
If I'm going to experience negative effects from the Mirena, how soon can I expect to start noticing them? Literally immediately or would they build up over a period of weeks?
I had it inserted only less than a week ago and apart from the pad I wore post insertion which obviously did have some blood on it I've had no bleeding or even spotting and feel totally normal but obviously I'm very early days so I'm wondering at what point is it probably safe for me to breathe a sigh of relief that I'm one of the lucky ones?
