Hi all,

whilst undergoing IVF on nhs during the final few scans there was query of a polyp or uterine fold. Blastocyst can’t be transferred until this has been explored and a referral made via nhs for a hysteroscopy with possible polypectomy.

consultant advised of a 1-2 month wait however have chased up today to be advised of a 76 week wait. Now considering going private and wondered whether anyone has gone private and if so costing of this recently. I was in the list for local rather than general anaesthetic and would be looking at the same.

preferably looking at hospitals in north wales or north west

thanks for your help :)

I dunno, in my city, you can just ring the local private hospitals and they have a whole department of folks ready to tell you whether you need to see one of their consultants first, how much a procedure will cost and how long you'll have to wait.

BTW good luck.

Agree with PP just ring the Nuffield or the Spire or whatever your local private hospital is.

Or Google private gyanae near you and call their medical secretary.
