I was just wondering if anyone has ever had anything similar. I haven't had a period since my son was born he is now coming up to 2.5. I had a C-section but did have retained placenta for 8 weeks which I had to get removed by a D&C.
I breastfed until 15 months and was on the pill so didn't really notice the lack of periods . However I came of the pill well over a year ago and still no periods .
A consultant thought it might be early menopause (I'm 31) bloods were slightly on the low / high range for my age but nothing alarming,this was 5 months ago . I'm due back to see another consultant next week.
Since my last appt 5 months ago . I am getting brown clots at the same time it seems when my period would be due but still no period ( I did have red blood yesterday for the first time a tiny bit when wiping) . The pain is also getting worse each month. Serve period pain and cramping . I can't actually wear jeans at the moment I'm that bloated and in so much pain. I have ibs and my ibs also seems horrendous around this time.
I had 3 miscarriages before my son but periods were regular. I had a scan 5 months ago that looked clear but he couldn't get a good view. I'm wondering if it could be PCOS or endometriosis, and if anyone has experienced similar? Thanks
