I keep getting them, this is the second in a month. I'm 54.

Help! Did you get this? What worked for you in making this shitshow stop?

Yes, I am posting sat on the bloody loo, seeing the GP at 4.00pm and losing money as I can't sit still on a chair to work. Or think.

You need vaginal oestrogen. As well as antibiotics to clear up the one you have now.

Basically the drop in oestrogen with menopause does horrible things to our pelvic floors that make us much more prone to UTIs.

Vaginal oestrogen sorts it out.

Had a hysterectomy and had masses of UTIs in the following year. 5 years on now and still was getting my fair share. Doc has put me on Vagifem which seems to have worked.
