Is this normal for PMS?

Recently I've noticed changes in my PMS symptoms. I've started feeling intense paranoia, really low mood and anxiety a couple of days before my period. Specifically, I get strangely hyper-concerned about womens' issues like breast cancer - even though I'm 20 and have no family history of the condition so aren't exactly high risk. Of course when I'm due on I have breast pain and swelling anyway so that doesn't help the anxiety.
I'm becoming super tired too, I slept in till gone 11am when I'm usually out of bed by 7am. Plus when I actually start bleeding, I feel nauseous and like I'm going to pass out. Couldn't even make it to the front door to go grocery shopping today.

Is all this anxiety and exhaustion 'normal'? It's really stressing me out. This has only happened my last couple of cycles, before then I had a regular period with minimal PMS and relatively mild cramps/nausea/headaches.

Sorry if I'm over-reacting! Just need an external opinion.

Have you had your iron levels checked?
I sometimes feel super anxious a few days before AF. What has helped is using an app that reminds me when I'm due on and this helps me kind of control my moods ....or just remind me why I'm feeling this way.
The days after AF I feel amazing and have loads of energy. This is when I book things I need to get done!!!
I also take iron supplements.

Health Anxiety.
There are lots of posts on MN from people suffering HA. There should be lots of good advice here how to recover from it. The symptoms you get are real but the cure is fixing something in your head, not in rest of your body.
