Metronidazole & alcohol

I know the general advice is to wait 48 hrs after a course of metronidazole before drinking alcohol. I stupidly was late taking my last tablet today and have a night out of Saturday. So it’ll be 45 hrs after that I plan to have a couple of drinks. Anyone got any idea if that’d be ok?!

I don’t know but it can make you feel very sick if you mix the two.

According to this it's out of your system in 44 hours. But I'd be careful - that's an "average body" which probably means a male body.

@colouringindoors thsnks. I was fine after 48 hours last time so maybe I’ll just have soft drinks until closer to the 48 hrs!
