Really considering trying this as hating hormonal contraception. But worried about heavier/painful periods. I’ve read that the smaller 5 year coils give less side effects.
has anyone got one of the smaller/5 year copper coils, how have you found it?
I’ve had the mirena before so know what insertion feels like, more interested in affect on periods 😊

I e had a copper coil for 4 years. Not sure what size. Very happy with it. Periods were longer for the first year but then settled down and zero period pain
