Prolapse repair

Anyone had private prolapse repair (uk) and can I ask how much you paid ? Is it more the more work you need doing ? I want a rectocele repair I can’t live like this anymore. I am waiting to see a gyno but don’t think I’ll be offered surgery as I’m only 27

My hospital don’t touch it unless it’s pretty much out of your vagina,

I had one done, NHS, but I'm much older. The op was very straightforward and I was absolutely fine, no pain, no problems. You can probably find prices for private on line. if it's causing you problems I would go for it. I think the biggest down side is that it may not last and you might need it re-done in ten or more years time, but I couldn't live with it either. If they hadn't offered surgery I would have gone private too. Five years later now and still fine.
