What is causing the tears around my vulva?

Every 6-8 weeks i seem to have an outbreak of skin tearing in my vulva and inside my vagina. Its extremely uncomfortable and stings and gets worse then goes away after a week or too. I also think i have an anterior wall prolapse.

Any ideas what it could be? 39, no reason to think STD, not caused by sex/friction/injury.

Glad you got thrush diagnosed finally. I get cuts and microtears due to thrush and then the ruddy thrush returns due to the tears. So you have to treat the thrush and heal the skin.
