Bleeding on and off for 10 weeks

Hi all. Just looking if anyone is in a similar position to me. My boy was born on 08th July via emergency c section. The outside of the scar seems to have healed now, and I've been on the progesterone only pill since middle of July. After 7 weeks the bleeding seemed to have stopped but now its coming back again fairly medium heavy. Anyone else had similar position? I'm not sure if it's from the pill but my belly has been bloated and sore some days.

I had my DD on 14th of July, via planned c-section and I was not expecting the amount of bleeding I had!

I stopped bleeding after about 5 days and thought I was incredibly lucky! And then me and DH DTD and I started bleeding again, but more just brown discharge (sorry TMI) so I assumed it was just the last of it all coming out. At 5 weeks post partum, I woke up to fresh red blood which GP said May well be my first period, and she prescribed the mini pill and said that should sort the bleeding out. It then finally came to an end but still had brown discharge every time I went to the loo. And every time me and DH DTD I'd start bleeding again! So I'm worried I may have an issue with my cervix, so I'm not sure if that's possible for you too? Is it always fresh blood? Could it be your periods returning?

I bled for months , MONTHS! on the mini pill . Seems a common problem . It did settle down eventually and I'd maybe only bleed once every 3 months which is a pain in the arse itself as you never know when your period is due . Last time I tried it I gave up

Its probably the mini pill. I'm having a similar problem. I was given it to sort out bleeding between periods (what a joke!) I've been on it 4 weeks now and have bled almost every single day. At the moment it's as heavy as a proper period. Driving me mad!! But I've heard stories it can take weeks to settle down and then lots of women get no periods any more, so I'm sticking it out in hope!!

Ah I'm so confused and don't know what to do!

I started taking the mini pill about 6/7 weeks pp as the gp said this should sort out any bleeding. After a weekend taking it, it stopped but I still had the odd brown discharge when going to the toilet.

DD then unfortunately ended up in hospital unexpectedly and I ended up missing the pill for a week, after about 2 days off I started bleeding again, like a period, and then I started taking it again when we got out of hospital and the bleeding stopped and again I just had on/off brown discharge. So assumed the pill was stopping the bleeding.

But I've been back on the pill for about a week not and I've just started bleeding again!! 😭😭 I'm so so so fed up of it now, feels like I've only had a few days break before starting another period!!

Should I stop the pill or try and stick it out?! I don't know what to do.

Sorry long and Ranty post, I'm so fed up!
