Is it a huge risk?
It's the only pill my body agrees with.

It’s a complete contraindication in the UK as the risk is significant. Studies have reported a 7 to 14 times higher risk of ischaemic stroke in women on the combined pill who have migraine with aura.

Completely contraindicated, you'll struggle to find any doctor who will prescribe this for you.

With respect, please don't ask random members of the public to justify what you would like to do vs. what will put you at risk of death/ potentially disabling, life long condition. Please look at alternative forms of contraception.

Additionally, it's not always the woman's job, why can't your partner resolve the contraception issue given that you have medical grounds to avoid certain forms?

You're asking a question that has no answer other than 'unacceptable risk'. Good luck.

I would consider another method of contraception, such as a coil. It is a big enough risk that I would not take it (also migraine with aura and did previously get on with the combined pill)
