Colposcopy appointment and very heavy period

I’ve an appointment this afternoon but unfortunately it’s fallen on the heaviest day of my period. I can’t get through to the hospital on the phone to ask if I should still go, does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi I'm not medical but have done lots of research as having a colonoscopy today and I have endometriosis. What I found suggests that it will not be a problem at all - good luck for the appointment

Thanks @Choconuts , I did eventually get through to them and they advised to still attend so hopefully it won’t affect things too much.

Yes, still attend. We cope with whatever is throw at us !

@KangarooKenny thanks! I’ve just been and they didn’t bat an eyelid. Also, they said everything looked perfect so that’s a relief.
