Almost 10 years to the day since my first PCOS diagnosis (followed by fibroids, random cysts and endometriosis), I have finally been referred to a proper gynae department.
Went to the GP this morning and had a little breakdown as I'm so fed up of looking 6 months pregnant, and I've finally been taken seriously (maybe also helped by the fact I'm pushing 40). I'm childfree by choice and they can take the whole lot out if they want (my mother and grandmother had the same issues and both had full hysterectomies in their early / mud 40's).
I know it'll be a wait but I am just so happy. No real point to this thread other than a happy ramble!
