Hi all,

I was just looking to get other peoples stories and If there is anything else I can do.

A year ago I gave birth via ventouse and episiotomy. I first had sex 3 months after and I just felt so stretched and couldn’t feel much. I was hoping that as time went on I would start feeling more but I haven’t. I have been doing my pelvic floor exercises regularly on the squeezy app but I’m worried this is now my baseline. Is this the new normal? And is this normal and no one ever talks about it? I wish I knew about this before I gave birth as I may have opted for a c sec.

thank you x

Hey, I gave birth three months ago with episiotomy and seem to have the opposite issue! I feel like I’ve been stitched too tight and it’s painful and uncomfortable… no pleasure what so ever 😣

Interested to hear if anyone’s got any advice so following this thread!

Hope you manage to sort things out x

OP please seek the help of a pelvic floor physiotherapist rather than doing exercises from an app. She will be able to tailor an exercise programme to your needs and you will enjoy intercourse again.
